After completing my project, I found that my hypothesis did not support my data. My hypothesis stated that my robot is capable designed, built, and programmed using Lego's RIS and NQC to put the billiard balls into the corner pockets. Due to the speed and power, it is capable of performing this task. The robot was not able to remove all the balls. A few fell off the table and some just missed the coffee can. My project was not a success. It was the same results as my Science Olympiad competition. I am still a little happy of the results because I was able to build it without using a remote control to control the arm and car.
If I could make any changes, it would be to change the structure of the robot, instead of a lasso, I would use something like two hands, and I would change the program.
In conclusion, my project will help other kids that are in Science Olympiad to do will in this event.
